Ilisha French

Biography
My role as a lab instructor stems from an eclectic background in psychology and health research with a passion for understanding and working with vulnerable populations. I graduated from the Department of Psychology at ºìÌÒÊÓƵ in 2013 where I completed two directed studies and a summer undergraduate research study in aging research. I also completed my honours thesis in human sexuality. Following my undergraduate degree, I worked for several years as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa in the Department of Family Medicine on a project examining patient satisfaction in rural communities. Upon returning to New Brunswick, I worked as a clinical administrator in sleep medicine and as a patient coordinator in biologic pharmaceutical care. I became a lab instructor in the department in 2021 and this has allowed me to continue working in my educated field by teaching students in several interesting areas of psychology and helping them to strengthen their skills in psychology research.
